OBSERVING
SYSTEMS
Observing systems come in various types, for various
purposes. The World Meteorological Organisation , WMO, works with a
categorization largely based on technology. As we are nowadays dealing with a
lot of different applications of the observations, we have added a number
of these. Different suppliers generally have their own specialization.
